Chard thinnings: a feast!

After Saturday’s single-strawberry harvest, we were still a little peckish, so we thought we’d go back today and see what else we could pick.

Nothing else on the plot seems to be doing quite as well as the chard, which came through as a thick row without any gaps and so far hasn’t been bothered by pests. It’s done so well, that it really needed thinning, so we pulled a few leaves to have with our dinner.
